Preparation

  • Remove the tsoureki from the carton box and leave it at room temperature for at least 2hours until it is completely defrosted. Caution! Do not remove the plastic baking bag.
  • Place it on a baking tray without removing the baking bag.
  • Preheat the fan oven to 150ο C.ο C.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Allow the tsoureki to cool down.
  • Remove the baking bag and place the tsoureki on a platter for glazing.

Note: Temperature and baking time may vary depending on the oven and baking method.

For the Glaze:

A. Option

  • BAIN MARIE. Open the glaze sachet and pour the pieces into a bowl. Place the bowl in a bain-marie (hot water), ensuring no water gets into the bowl. Stir the contents until melted -smooth.

Β. Option

  • Microwave oven Open the glaze sachet and pour the pieces into a microwave safe container. Heat for 20-30 seconds, stir, and repeat for 15-20 seconds until melted-smooth.

Pour the glaze over the tsoureki and enjoy!
